My Goals for 2010

I did it again!! I have miserably failed to achieve most of my past year resolutions.

While i DID make progress in my career, I have started up my own business in July 2009, which is a great milestone of my life and one of my best decisions. Apart from that, let me confess that i have not made much progress in any of the other resolutions for 2009.

I guess that I overwhelmed myself with too many resolutions last year, and was too lazy to act upon them. I need to get my boots strapped and be more accountable to myself.  So, let me break it down to just TWO resolutions for the first half of this year, form a habit, achieve them, and set new resolutions for the next half of the year. I am also going reward myself with something expensive if i succeed to achieve them.

1. Personal Goal: To Lose weight

From last year, i have not lost, or gained weight. I have managed to maintain the same weight throughout, and that comes as a relief. By June 30th of 2010, I commit to lose 30 Kilos, that is, a healthy 5 KG weight loss a month. I will update the status here in the blog on my journey to it.

2. Professional Goal: To increase the revenues

Since i started up Webnamaste, we have been consistently getting orders, and have recruited a new executive to fill the delivery shortage. December was an exception where we had less work to do, but we managed to work on our passive income sites, so we have nulled any possible losses. We have 4 full-time executives and 1 freelancer at the moment, and will soon recruit 3 more folks in a couple months. All these months, our aim was to stabilize the company and form a process. Hence the company did not make any considerable profits, though we managed to become cash-flow positive within such a less time, thanks to a low investment. Our professional goal is to increase our overall revenues by at least 300% by June 2010. It is not easy, but it’s certainly possible.

I will make sure that i tweet and blog my progress, and a lot of interesting posts are coming up for you folks. Stay tuned, you will not be disappointed this time ;-)
